Watch Skrillex’s Surprise set at Porter Robinson’s Second Sky Music Festival

At long last, Skrillex's Second Sky Music Festival performance is available.

Perhaps one of the biggest highlights of the inaugural Porter Robinson-curated Second Sky Music Festival this past weekend was the unexpected set delivered by Skrillex. Several other recordings already found their way to the public, and the now the one he delivered is online as well.

In the beginning of the video, Robinson jokes with the audience over the mic by saying the secret headliner wasn't able to make it. After a tongue-in-cheek routine involving the Second Sky mascot, "DJ Potaro," Skrillex (real name Sonny Moore) takes off the costume to reveal himself to all in attendance.

As we've mentioned before, Moore played no small role in the mentorship of Robinson when the latter artist first cut his teeth as an electronic musician. As if that wasn't enough, his continued status as one of EDM's most prominent figureheads made him a spirited addition to the celebrated festival's entertainment roster.

Porter Robinson has reportedly said that Second Sky Music Festival will return to in 2020. It remains to be seen whether Skrillex will make an appearance at next year's edition.
