Watch Bonobo light up Melt! Festival with his live set

2018 is checking out to be a year of surprises from Bonobo. In April, he was the final surprise DJ set at Coachella‘s Do LaB stage, closing out the festival with his notoriously eclectic and crowd-pleasing choices from house’s underground reaches.

This time, the treat comes courtesy of Melt! Festival, from its 2017 run in Germany’s Ferropolis open-air museum. Bonobo’s newly revealed set shows the British artist’s multi-faceted offering of talent as not only a DJ, but as a live electronic performer. The video of this live set from Melt! shows an extensive setup complete with live instruments and electronic elements that together bring an expansive soundscape to life.
