The Avicii Tribute Concert Took Only Hours to Sell Out

The mental health awareness event will bring the late producer's friends to the stage for a good cause.

After the tragic passing of EDM legend Avicii in 2018, the entire music community seemed to be discussing the importance of artists remaining in good mental health. With strenuous touring schedules and high expectations from fans, stress and depression can quickly become a major problem for musicians. To raise awareness for this issue, an Avicii tribute concert was announced for December 5th in Stockholm, Sweden. Tickets to that concert went on sale today and sold out within hours.

The concert brings a slew of long-time Avicii collaborators and friends including David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Aloe Blacc, Otto Knows, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and many more to the stage. A thirty-piece band will also accompany the performers, bringing one of Avicii's longtime dreams to life. There are still more artist announcements on the way for the show, but eager fans have already made the event sell out almost immediately.

All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Tim Bergling Foundation, the charity that was set up after Avicii's passing by his parents, to combat suicide and mental health issues and raise awareness for the cause.

The Avicii Tribute Concert is already sold out, but more information on the two hour show and the Tim Bergling Foundation can be found here.
