Only days beforehand, Sebastian Ingrosso also failed to appear for his set alongside Steve Angello at XS Las Vegas.
Swedish House Mafia fans attending Ultra Korea were faced with unfortunate news on June 9th, the final day of the festival. The EDM supergroup announced that they must cancel their performance at the festival a matter of hours before they were set to play.
The trio broke the news via a post to their Facebook page only visible in select regions. At the time of writing, they have not disclosed a specific reason for the cancellation.

Only a couple days beforehand, Swedish House Mafia member Sebastian Ingrosso did not appear alongside Steve Angello at their June 7th XS Las Vegas performance. Angello later cited passport issues as the reason for Ingrosso’s absence in the comments of an Instagram post made by the nightclub.

Swedish House Mafia disbanded in 2013 and reunited with a performance at the 2018 edition of Ultra Music Festival’s flagship Miami event. Towards the end of the same year, they began a series of announcements revealing that a full 2019 tour and new music were on the way.
A spokesperson on behalf of Swedish House Mafia was not immediately available to comment on the Ultra Korea cancellation.
Corrections and clarifications: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that no public explanation was given for Sebastian Ingrosso’s June 7th XS Las Vegas cancellation.
