The festival returns with a diverse and rich lineup after a financially tumultuous 2018.
Suwannee Hulaween, considered one of the top music festivals in the Southeast, released an initial lineup today that features some of the most exciting names in electronic music.
At the helm is cult bass music act Bassnectar, who returns to the festival for the second time after headlining in 2017. Assisting in headlining duties are Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, and The String Cheese Incident, who founded the festival with Suwannee organizers back in 2013.
Big Wild, Jai Wolf, Snails and bass house icon Tchami assist in co-headlining alongside jam acts Umphrey’s McGee, STS9, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. Revered indie artist Flying Lotus will also appear in Florida’s panhandle for Halloween weekend.
Making up this year’s undercard is a plethora of up-and-coming electronic acts. French-producer CloZee returns after impressing at the Spirit Lake Stage in 2018, while Whethan, Peekaboo, Whipped Cream, Charlesthefirst, Walker & Royce and Vampa are all joining in on the fun for 2019’s Hulaween.
Additionally, livetronic act Manic Focus returns to the woods he has so frequently visited over the years, including a late night set at the festival’s iconic Amphitheater Stage last year.
While questions about the festival’s financial obligations from 2018 remain, this first-look at the lineup will likely enthrall music fans alike and cultivate another unique, meaningful gathering in the fall.
