SLANDER gave fans at EDC Orlando a special surprise.
On the first night of the 2019 edition of EDC Orlando, SLANDER shared their rendition of a recent hit with those fortunate enough to be at the Circuit Grounds stage. The Los Angeles duo played an as-yet-unreleased remix of "Good Things Fall Apart" featuring Jon Bellion by Illenium.
In a two-minute clip of tweeted by SLANDER (real names Derek Andersen and Scott Land), the source material's rich acoustics give way to a suspenseful buildup. What follows is a grandiose and feels-inducing drop that invigorates the radio-ready original with a measure of main stage appeal.
EDC Orlando has given countless artists an opportunity to debut new music. During last year's edition of the now three-day festival, for instance, Alison Wonderland debuted two releases. The 2018 edition had its hiccups, however; a stage had to be evacuated after a fire broke out on day two.
Andersen and Land have yet to announce when their "Good Things Fall Apart" remix is due out.
