You could say the new Skrillex homepage follows a less-is-more approach.
If similar publicity stunts executed by his fellow EDM artists serve as any indicator, Skrillex has some kind of announcement in the works. The Los Angeles DJ/producer and OWSLA label boss has updated his website with nothing more than a still image.
Skrillex's instantly recognizable logo can be seen in red over a solid purple background when you visit Skrillex.com. Only yesterday, links to music releases and other announcement could be seen in tiles beneath a banner of links across the top of the window.
Since returning from his extended release hiatus, Skrillex (A.K.A. Sonny Moore) appears eager to make up for lost time. Among his recent projects are his Joyryde collaboration, "Agen Wida," and his remix of Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode."
Skrillex has yet to reveal the significance of his website update at the time of writing. In the meantime, he will continue his tour with a performance at Electric Jungle Music Festival in Foshan, China on Saturday, December 8th.
