Porter Robinson Brings Out Skrillex as Special Guest for Second Sky Music Festival

Porter Robinson surprised fans at the final day of Second Sky with a guest set from Skrillex.

On the second and final day of Porter Robinson's very own Second Sky Music Festival, he shocked fans by announcing a surprise set from a new artist named "DJ Potaro." After a few laughs and cheers, DJ Potaro took off his costume and revealed himself to be none other than Skrillex.

Although rumors of his inclusion were circulating throughout the festival grounds, fans were still blown away by the appearance of the eight-time Grammy-winning producer. In order to quell the rumors and make the surprise even more exciting, Skrillex had tried to mislead fans into thinking he was unable to attend Second Sky.

In typical Skrillex (real name Sonny Moore) fashion, he played a diverse mix of tracks from his expansive library as well as two tracks fans believe to be never-before-heard IDs.

Skrillex's appearance at Second Sky carried a special significance considering he signed Porter to his first record deal in 2011 for his debut EP Spitfire, released on Skrillex's OWSLA label.

Second Sky Music Festival took place June 15th and 16th at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park in Oakland, California.
