This week, Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella will reveal the EDC Orlando headliners via a "Music Through Music" mix.
With three months remaining until the 2019 edition of EDC Orlando takes place, Pasquale Rotella has revealed plans to announce the event's lineup. This Thursday, August 16th at 6:00 PM EST on the event's Facebook page, the Insomniac founder and CEO will share each headliner in a specially curated "Music Through Music" mix series.
Each of the 80 acts will be represented by a track in the series of mixes, which will run 23 minutes total. Rotella has announced the lineups of other Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) events via "Music Through Music" mixes, leading fans far and wide to piece together the lineup together on social media.
Earlier in the year, Insomniac revealed plans to expand EDC Orlando to three days in 2019 via billboards in Miami. That's only one part of the SoCal-based promoter's Floridian conquest. Last month, it came to light that they had acquired a majority owner share in Miami's Club Space.
Rotella founded Insomniac in 1994 as a weekly Los Angeles party. He organized his first EDC in 1997 as an homage to a 1993 event of the same name held by Steve Kool Aid and Gary Richards A.K.A. DESTRUCTO. The flagship EDC relocated to Las Vegas in 2011, and the event brand has grown to include gatherings in such countries as India, Mexico and Japan.
This year's EDC Orlando will take place from November 8th-10th at Tinker Field. For more information visit the event website.
