North Coast Announces 2019 Lineup, Location and Ticketing Tiers

NCMF has moved to Chicago's Northerly Island and introduced GA Lawn tickets.

North Coast Music Festival (NCMF), touted as summer’s last stand, will relocate this year for its 10th anniversary and shrink from three days to two. Previously located at Union Park in Chicago, this year’s NCMF will take place at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island from August 30th-31st. Along with a new location, NCMF also has a new budget ticketing tier.

Heavy hitters this year include Major Lazer, Tchami, Snakehips, Flux Pavilion, and the return of Bassnectar. Chicago veterans like Big Wild and Jai Wolf will also be in attendance. Jauz will be hosting a Bite This! Takeover, and there will be a live set and a DJ set by Gorgon City and Ookay, respectively.

North Coast 2019 Lineup

North Coast’s new location, Northerly Island, is a man-made peninsula off the coast of Chicago’s South Loop, just south of the Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium. The venue has a view of Lake Michigan, Burnham Harbor, Soldier Field, and the Chicago skyline.

In addition to a new location, NCMF has introduced a budget-friendly ticketing tier, GA Lawn. GA Lawn will only have access to the smaller Hangar stage and about half of the festival grounds, but with views of the Pavilion main stage and video screens. GA Floor will receive close access to both stages and the entire festival area.
