mau5trap’s newest project, Nofone, made quite the stir and had fans guessing if the new act was another big name’s new alias after releasing “Who Is It?” earlier this April. All rumors were put to rest but people in the community are still skeptical and are looking forward to what’s to come. This being said, excitement levels are high as the four-track EP, ‘Deleted’ releases on April 23 via mau5trap.
Nofone continues his forward thinking production with three new tracks that all contain his distinctive blend of bobbing beats and smooth breakdowns. “Hit Me On My Phone” is fully equipped with a poopy percussion and vibrant layers of beeps and rings. The infectious sound of the track is a perfect segue for another track on the EP, “Deleted.” It picks up the speed with an echoing voice in background repeating, “Thank you for calling, please leave a message,” that adds some extra hype to the song. Find the full EP on April 23 and keep watching to see what other tricks Nofone has up his sleeve!
