Martin Garrix said this was the second time he’s played out his “Someone You Loved” remix.
It appears as though Martin Garrix has another high-profile remix coming down the pipeline. The Dutch DJ/producer has been playing out what appears to be a rendition of “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi.
As can be heard in the video clip tweeted by Martin Garrix Hub, the young superstar fitted the source material with his signature brand of euphoric lead synths. Shortly after cueing it up, he revealed over the mic that it was his second time playing the remix out live.
Martin Garrix (real name Martijn Garritsen) catapulted to the top of the EDM food chain following the runaway success of his 2013 single “Animals.” Last year, he was named #1 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs feature for the third time.
Capaldi’s career trajectory has trended upward much more recently. The Scottish singer/songwriter released his debut Bloom EP in 2017, and “Someone You Loved” has dominated the UK charts throughout 2019.
Neither Garritsen nor Capaldi have disclosed an official release date for the “Someone You Loved” remix at the time of writing.
