Martin Garrix enlisted JRM for a 2019 festival anthem.
When it comes to making the melodies that soundtrack your fond festival memories, Martin Garrix boasts as strong a track record as any EDM producer. What he's delivered for "These Are The Times" featuring JRM proves that in 2019 he hasn't lost his touch.
"These Are The Times" – which Martin Garrix (real name Martijn Garritsen) first debuted at Ushuaïa Ibiza – is driven by a simple yet powerful sequence of notes that sticks in your head longer after you hear it. The song's vocal topline gives it an anthemic quality that ensures diehard fans will sing along from the crowd at any sold-out festival where Garritsen cues it up.
Garritsen catapulted into international superstardom when the EDM explosion was in full swing. His 2013 single "Animals" played no small role in influencing the big room house sound that swept festival main stages for years, landing him a deal with Spinnin' Records in the process. By the end of 2015 he had left the label due to a conflict regarding ownership of his music, and the following year he launched his own artist imprint, STMPD RCRDS.
Martin Garrix's "These Are The Times" featuring JRM is out now via STMPD RCRDS and Sony Music. Stream or download it across platforms here.
