Marshmello Observes Moment of Silence for Soldiers Killed in Pulwama Attack

Marshmello paid respects prior to starting his set at the VH1 Supersonic Festival.

At his recent main stage festival set in Pune, India, Marshmello observed a two-minute moment of silence recognizing the fallen soldiers of the Pulwama terror attack. The silence occurred immediately prior to Marshmello beginning his set at Pune's Vh1 Supersonic Festival.

On Thursday, February 14th, over 40 CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) soldiers were killed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. A Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed an SUV into a security convoy and triggered explosives.

As the moment of silence occurred at Marshmello's set, the flag of India was also projected in the background. According to DNA India, Marshmello was the only international artist at the festival to recognize the attacks and pay tribute to the victims.

The festival set at Vh1 Supersonic concluded Marshmello's latest multi-stop tour in India.
