Knife Party Premiere “Death and Desire” with Zane Lowe on Beats 1

A day ahead of their new EP's release, Knife Party share "Death and Desire" as Zane Lowe's Beats 1 World Record.

Knife Party fans the world await the release of the Lost Souls EP, and the Australian duo have been generous enough to share one of its tracklist entries a day early. "Death and Desire" featuring Harrison has been chosen by Zane Lowe as today's Beats 1 World Record, and you can hear a snippet of the song between segments of their interview.

After a clip of Lowe asking Rob Swire of Knife Party a series of questions, "Death and Desire" fades in around the 1:50 mark. As can be heard in the audio below, it exhibits a softer, more main stage-friendly manifestation of the duo's otherwise raucous signature sound.

As for the rest of the Lost Souls EP, Knife Party slated it for official release tomorrow, July 19th. Pre-save or pre-add it on Spotify and Apple Music here and catch their next performance at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco tonight, July 18th.
