No one expected this.
News broke out not too long before Ultra Music Festival's 21st installment, that KFC's late founder and mascot Colonel Sanders would be performing a five-minute main stage set on day one. Fans were surprised and curious to see what the unexpected addition to the lineup meant, with many considering this a major PR stunt for KFC.
Fans weren't able to experience Sanders' short set, which was in between performances by Dzeko and Nora En Pure, as the live stream was delayed. Yet a Twitter user uploaded it in a short video:
As it turned out, a person with a Colonel Sanders cartoony mask was performing, accompanied by the same character on the visuals. As seen below, artists and fans alike expressed their disappointment in Ultra's Mainstage "booking."
