JOYRYDE Announces Release Date of Lead Album Single “I’m Gone”

The wait is nearly over for new JOYRYDE.

After a prolonged delay – and few updates – JOYRYDE is ending the drought with the announcement of his album's lead single. "I'm Gone" from his forthcoming album Brave is set to release Friday, February 22nd.

Ever since the postponement of JOYRYDE's debut album in November of 2018, fans have been eagerly been awaiting updates from the "Hot Drum" producer. The album was officially delayed due to "technical reasons" but details surrounding "I'm Gone" have drawn new speculation.

First, JOYRYDE initially claimed "AGAIN WIDA" was the lead single for his album Brave. The JOYRYDE & Skrillex collaboration was released via Skrillex's OWSLA imprint in October, 2018. However, this Friday, "I'm Gone" will be released via HARD Recs. Naturally, it begs the question as to what happened between JOYRYDE and OWSLA, given he had several prominent releases on the label previously.

No matter the politics surrounding the album, JOYRYDE's latest work will likely be met with the same anticipation. Pre-save JOYRYDE's "I'm Gone" here and keep on the lookout for more forthcoming announcements surrounding his debut album.
