Insomniac's Floridian conquest continues.
Insomniac's ever-expanding presence in Florida's EDM scene has grown to include a milestone partnership. The SoCal promoter have announced that they have acquired an ownership stake in Miami's iconic Club Space.
The news follows last month's revelation that Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will return in 2020 following an Insomniac buyout. The 2019 edition of the gathering was officially canceled in November of last year shortly after minutes from an Okeechobee County Commissioner meeting to that effect reached the public. Additionally, 2019 will mark the first year that EDC Orlando takes place over the course of three days.
“Space is one of the most iconic dance music venues in the US if not the world, and I’m excited that Insomniac is now a partner,” Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella said of the partnership. “Davide [Danese], Coloma [Kaboomsky] and [David] Sinopoli have done an exceptional job revitalizing this venue to be better than it’s ever been. They are passionate people that care about creating experiences, and share the same core values that Insomniac lives by."
According to a statement, management and operations at Club Space will not change significantly.
