A dramatic temperature drop in Colorado has led to the cancellation of one of Illenium's most anticipated gigs.
Illenium fans in and around his hometown of Denver, Colorado have been met with unfortunate news. The superstar DJ/producer has been forced to cancel the first of three consecutive Red Rocks Amphitheatre headline events on account of inclement weather.
Red Rocks first shared the news via a recorded message on their info line. Thursday, October 10th marked the first freeze of the season, and in the early hours of Friday, October 10th temperatures are expected to break record lows for this point in the season. Illenium (real name Nicholas D. Miller) is still expected to perform on the evenings of the 10th and 11th as the weather warms back up.
Fans of Miller in the Mile High area have had a tough run of luck so far this year. In July, he was forced to cancel his back-to-back set with Excision at the 2019 edition of Global Dance Festival due to high risk of lightning strikes during a storm. The two finally performed together at Lost Lands two weeks ago.
Refunds for Illenium's first Red Rocks headline event are expected to process within 24-48 hours.
