Illenium has made it clear just how seriously he takes the social media commentary on Dabin's guitar smashing stunt.
Last month, Dabin found himself the subject of social media fervor after a handful of fans took issue with him smashing guitars onstage during stops on Illenium's ASCEND Tour. Not long afterwards Illenium (real name Nicholas D. Miller) came to his defense, and he's taken it a step further by displaying the complaints during performances.
During the ASCEND Tour stop at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, the screen shots were shown onscreen while they played "Throwin' Elbows" by Excision and Space Laces. Messages like "How irresponsible" and "So wasteful. SMH." made for a tongue-in-cheek visual accompaniment.

Miller's trajectory in the EDM world has made him a household name over the past several years. Dabin (real name Dabin Lee) has emerged somewhat more recently; his 2018 collaboration with SLANDER and Seven Lions titled "First Time" is arguably his biggest release to date.
