Gesaffelstein Announces New Album, Hyperion, Out Next Month

The latest from Gesaffelstein features tracks with Pharrell Williams, HAIM and more.

Since his return late last year, fans have been impatiently waiting for Gesaffelstein's next album. This morning, the French techno producer announced that a studio-length effort titled Hyperion will be releasing March 8th on Columbia Records.

His recent collaboration with The Weeknd and last year’s “Reset” will be featured on Hyperion, alongside collaborations with Pharrell Williams, HAIM and others. It follows up his debut album, Aleph, released in 2013 on OWSLA. Based on the first two singles, fans of the mysterious French producer can expect his signature blend of bass-infused techno.

Since the beginning of the decade, Gesaffelstein rose from an underground sensation to international superstar. He boasts production credits on The Weeknd’s latest EP and Kanye West’s #1 album, Yeezus, alongside Daft Punk.

Gesaffelstein is also gearing up for performances at both Coachella and Governors Ball later this year.
