FISHER Called Out for Tweeting Suggestive Clips of Female Club Staff

Some feel that FISHER's spastic sense of humor has crossed a line.

By no means is FISHER's over-the-top personal brand a secret to his staggering fan base, but he recently showed a side of it that many found questionable. The Australian DJ/producer shared a risqué video via Twitter that has alienated a swath of the electronic music community.

In the clip, FISHER (real name Paul Fisher) can be heard shouting at female nightclub staff as they bend over to clean the establishment's tables and floors. He deleted it soon after, but it was quickly reposted by another user. Fisher has not made any comments indicating that the women consented to being filmed.

From 2017-2018, Fisher enjoyed quite a moment as the runaway success of singles like "Stop It" and "Losing It" thrust him into the mainstream spotlight. The latter single hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, and shortly thereafter he became engaged to Aloé Swimwear founder Chloe Chapman.

A spokesperson on behalf of Fisher was not immediately available to comment on his video at the time of writing.
