Excision and SLANDER to Play Headline B2B Set at Hijinx 2019

Bassnectar, Skrillex and Porter Robinson are also on the bill.

Excision's joined forces with some of bass music's biggest names in 2019, and he'll cap off the year with yet another. The dubstep icon will share his time slot at HiJinx in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with none other than SLANDER for a back-to-back DJ set.

The news arrives by way of Hijinx's organizers, who have announced their 2019 lineup. Also headlining the two-day event are Bassnectar, GRiZ, Porter Robinson, Skrillex and Zeds Dead. Providing support are Big Wild, Clozee, Subtronics and DROELOE, among others.

This is turning into a pattern for Excision (real name Jeff Abel). In roughly two weeks, he will perform a back-to-back set with Illenium at Lost Lands. They were initially supposed to do so at Global Dance Festival before lightning strike warnings disrupted the second day of the event. Instead, the two spent time working on a song together in the studio.

Abel's list of collaborators on the release front is much longer. This summer alone, he's collaborated on entire EPs with Dion Timmer and Wooli. Not only that, but he recently shared that he and Bassnectar have a particularly unexpected single in the works.

The 2019 edition of HiJinx will take place on December 27th and 28th. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the event website.
