DJ Mag Reveals Top 100 Clubs List for 2019

DJ Mag offers their insight on the world's leading clubs.

For the second year in a row, DJ Mag has crowned Brazil's prolific Green Valley the #1 club in the world. The outdoor club initially began with a single tented structure in 2007 as part of what was intended to be a one-time event played by Carl Cox. Following the success of the event, the organizers continued to build upon the idea and the infrastructure. Now, over ten years later, Green Valley continues to thrive.

Washington D.C. club Echostage came in second place. The huge, 30,000-square-foot building holds 3,000 attendees nightly and remains the marquee venue for dance music's biggest names visiting the U.S. capitol. Mega club USHUAïA of Ibiza landed in a close third.

After reviewing the list, it would seem the world's leading club venues span many different global locations, with relatively high concentration in only a few markets. Many different U.S. markets were represented with Los Angeles' Exchange, Las Vegas' Hakkasan, and Miami's Club Space, all taking spots on the list.
