Dirtybird Campout East Coast Will Not Return to St. Cloud, Florida in 2019

"…We will not be able to execute the best possible East Coast Campout in 2019."

Add Dirtybird Campout East Coast to the list of Florida festivals meeting an uncertain fate. Noise complaints put a damper on the the first day of the inaugural event in February. Last night, organizers have announced that the gathering will not return to St. Cloud in 2019.

"We're sorry to announce that after many months of research and countless avenues explored we will not be able to execute the best possible East Coast Campout in 2019," read a statement shared via Dirtybird Campout's social channels. "We know that February's 2018 East Coast event was not perfect, and we want to be absolutely sure that when we come back, the quality of our production is not compromised."

Following noise complaints from nearby residents, St. Cloud officials kept Dirtybird Campout East Coast's organizers from playing music for the entire first day of the three-day festival. The cancellation follows that of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival and the controversial relocation of Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

The Dirtybird Campout East Coast statement mentioned that its organizers would make efforts towards bringing back the event in 2020.
