Diplo Performs Atop The Sydney Harbor Bridge

The prolific DJ was the first to ever perform on the iconic bridge.

All-around EDM superstar and icon Diplo seems to always be making headlines. Whether it's touring the globe, linking up with famous athletes, delving into the world of country music, or the constant stream of new music he's releasing, Diplo (real name Thomas Wesley Pentz Jr.) is always cooking up something new. Last week, he made history by becoming the first musical artist to perform across the Sydney Harbor Bridge in Australia.

The award winning DJ, producer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist performed on The Sydney Harbor Bridge in celebration of Bridgeclimb's 21st Anniversary. Climbers gather yearly to scale and summit the landmark bridge, and the 21st Anniversary event garnered over 2,000 climbers, with six of the original 1998 climbers and founders in attendance. What better way to celebrate a 21st birthday than with Diplo on the decks?

Pentz will be making appearances at many festivals and clubs in the near future, including XS in Las Vegas, All My Friends Music Festival in Los Angeles, and EDC Orlando. He's also fresh off of a release with the Jonas Brothers under his country-themed Thomas Wesley alias. There's no telling what the legendary performer is going to get himself into next.
