Corrupt’s “Next To You” is Your New Summer Bop

The Ohio native has delivered a bright, upbeat track.

Corrupt (real name James Caudle) is back and with a new sound. He's fresh off a hot performance at Electric Forest and is here to deliver the perfect funky track to dance your way into summer. "Next To You" features soulful pop vocals and an extremely infectious beat.

"Early summer I had the pleasure of working with an amazing singer and friend on this song," said Caudle. "I’ve always enjoyed making different styles of music and this was a fun change-up from my usual bass house production."

The track begins with the vocalist's smooth melodies melting their way in. It has a chorus so catchy that it will get you singing along by the second verse. The entire track is bright and upbeat with a fun drum pattern playing in the back and funky chord progression. The top hat comes in at the end and wraps it all up nicely.

Caudle dominated early on in his career in and around Ohio State University, quickly becoming the performer around which listeners planned their weekends. Only four years later and his production, massive tour dates, and artist support have experienced exponential growth. He has received support from Tiësto, Don Diablo, The Chainsmokers, 3LAU, Alison Wonderland, Two Friends and many more.
