Cardi B is scheduled for arraignment on October 29th.
Cardi B's penchant for violent behavior has landed her a court date. The "Bodak Yellow" rapperhas been arrested in connection with an incident that took place at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York.
TMZ reports that Cardi B (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) allegedly ordered members of her entourage to attack two sister bartenders who go by the monikers Jade and Baddie Gi. Sources say that the incident stemmed from Almánzar's longstanding grudge with the former sister for her romantic involvement with Migos member Offset.
Almánzar was subsequently arrested and charged with two misdemeanors: assault and reckless endangerment. Her arraignment is scheduled for October 29th.
This isn't the first time Cardi B has made headlines for belligerent behavior. Last month, a video clip surfaced of her throwing her shoe at Nicki Minaj before attempting to attack the Trinidadian-American rapper.
"She continues to threaten them and clearly thinks her celebrity status is going to get her out of this," said attorney Joe Tacopina, who represents the Angels Strip Club bartenders. "But it doesn't matter if her name is Cardi B or Carl B … if she commits violent assaults she will be brought to justice."
Cardi B has not publicly commented on the allegations at the time of writing.
