Armin van Buuren Commences 6-Part Documentary, Mr. Perfect

Mr. Perfect will cover the highs and lows of Armin Van Buuren’s life thus far.

Fans of Armin van Buuren are in for a special treat this week. The Dutch DJ/producer and global trance icon has begun uploading daily videos comprising Mr. Perfect, a six-part documentary detailing his life and career.

Each installment of Mr. Perfect runs roughly 25 minutes, and they illuminate such topics as van Buuren’s introduction to dance music, or the inception of his Armada Music record label. Among the interviewees who have made appearances thus far in the series are Ferry Corsten, JUNKIE XL and his wife, Erika.

Boasting a career in electronic music spanning over two decades, van Buuren remains among the most prominent figureheads of the worldwide community. The only artist to achieve the #1 spot in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs contest five separate years, he played no small role in the trance genre’s monumental popularity around the turn of the millennium.
