Swedish House Mafia have all but announced a new date.

The legendary dance music trio Swedish House Mafia appear to be ready to make their grand return to the capital of Sweden.

A few days ago, the official Swedish House Mafia website displayed a mysterious countdown timer. Fans of the trio went crazy with speculations of new music or shows. It now appears that the trio will be returning home for another event.

Just a few hours ago the Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello all posted the same image teasing the potential event to their personal Twitter profiles. It showed the word "Stockholm" three times, each apparently representing a member of the group.

The dance music world has been eagerly awaiting more developments on the trio's reunion since their massive surprise appearance at Ultra Music Festival earlier this year. While it's too early to say for sure, a Stockholm show seems as likely as anything.

At the time of writing, a less than eight hours remain on the SwedishHouseMafia.com countdown timer. Fans will soon find out what the EDM supergroup have in store for them.
