Andy King’s Fyre Festival Fellatio Story May have Landed Him a TV Series

Andy King has had a change of heart about becoming a meme.

Andy King begrudgingly amassed internet fame following the raunchy firsthand account he gave in Netflix's Fyre Festival documentary. It may end up paying off for the much-memed viral celebrity, as he's revealed that the notoriety may translate into a series of on-camera opportunities.

During a filmed interview, King had explained that Fyre brainchild Billy McFarland had asked him to perform sexual acts on a customs official to get them to release crates of Evian water. He told TMZ that he originally begged the directors of Fyre Festival: The Greatest Party That Never Happened to remove the segment of his interview detailing his run-in with customs from the film.

By the looks of things the blowback hasn't been all bad for King, however. He went on to explain:

"I probably wouldn't be where I am today if it had been taken out. I mean, how I've become a social media hero over a situation like that, I'm in total shock. But I'm riding with it, it's a lot of fun. TV offers to do cameos in movies. I'm doing a cameo tomorrow night for the Spirit Awards. I'm shooting a movie in March, we're working on a few different TV show concepts right now. I have three offers for those, it's incredible."

Fyre Festival may well be remembered as the single biggest flop in music festival history. Promoted largely by social media influencers, the luxury event was supposed to showcase such world-class talent as Disclosure, Lee Burridge and Major Lazer. When attendees arrived on the Exhumas islands, however, they were met with heaps of garbage and harsh living conditions.

Alongside McFarland was Ja Rule, who recently told TMZ he might try his hand at launching a festival again. The '90s rapper has followed his remarks up by saying that he's happy for the success King has found as a result of his appearance in the documentary.

Andy King has not formally announced his involvement with any specific TV series or production studio at the time of writing.
