Above & Beyond Tease Potential Film Score Project

Paavo Siljamäki teased a potential film score during an Instagram Q&A.

Trance and progressive titans Above & Beyond are no strangers to firing on all cylinders. The trio comprised of Paavo Siljamäki, Jono Grant, and Tony McGuiness tour the world, produce music, host the weekly Group Therapy radio show, run the Anjunabeats record label, and so much more. In an Instagram Q&A session, Siljamäki teased that they may now be working on a film score as well.

When an Instagram user asked if the trio had ever considered working on a film score, Paavo answered "Yes. (watch this space)," hinting at a possible Above & Beyond-scored film. This is great news for fans, who have previously experienced Above & Beyond Acoustic live sets, and two Acoustic albums. A film score would certainly sit nicely among those works, as well as the emotional trance productions for which the trio are so well known.

There has been no official announcement, but things look very hopeful according to Paavo's response. Fans are already buzzing about the teaser, so only time will tell when and if this potential film score will come to fruition.

Recently, Above & Beyond released There's Only You (The Remixes), featuring reworks from No Mana and Crystal Skies. The trio is also currently touring, as ever, and have upcoming shows at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in Colorado and Imagine Festival 2019in Atlanta.
