This year's Electric Forest, or "home," as it's known by thousands of die-hard attendees, marked a true return-to-form for Insomniac and Madison House Presents.After two years of the festival occupying two weekends (which many felt detracted from the family-community-love ethos of the gathering) its return to a single-weekend event truly reawakened the magic of the Forest.

The ninth installment of the festival, which sold out in only three hours, featured some of the biggest names in EDM, gorgeous performing artists, and visually stunning art. The lasers were on full-blast this year, and pyrotechnics were in heavy supply – much more so than in previous years.

This year's headliners included the likes of Bassnectar, ODESZA, Zeds Dead, Black Tiger Sex Machine and Alison Wonderland, as well as performances by Snails, Seven Lions, Ganja White Night, and over 200 other artists – not to mention the scores of visual and performing artists.
